Describes the project this MCP connection is scoped to: the project name, the GitHub repositories Shipstar tracks for content generation, which destinations are connected, the mailing lists available for release notes emails, and the project’s default content guidelines (technical-depth preset audience and free-text instructions) that every generation tool applies unless you override them per call. Call this first in a session to understand what generation will operate on. No arguments.

Returns

tracked_repositories covers active repos only — pass any of these names as repos to a generation tool to restrict it to that repository. content_guidelines are the project defaults set in the dashboard (Settings → Content guidelines); both fields are null until the team sets them. Every generate_* tool accepts audience and instructions arguments to override them for one call. The destinations and mailing_lists sections are the same payloads returned by list_destinations and list_mailing_lists.

Errors

  • Authenticated user or project is no longer available. — the token’s user or project was deleted; reconnect with a fresh token.

Example prompts

“What project is this connection scoped to, and which repos does it track?”
